EQUESTRIAN PAGE - BELTON PARK ONE DAY EVENT 2003

Held at Belton Park, Grantham, Lincolnshire on Saturday 12 to Sunday 13 April this Event had the benefit of extremely good weather and the going was hard after a long lack of rain but excellent. The joint Organisers were Mrs. M. Comerford and Mr. C. F. Harrison.
The 3 parkland courses were straightforward with large timber and maximum dimensions and were designed to encourage bold Cross Country riding and improve the confidence of young horses.
BELTON HOUSE (sometime since owned by Baron Brownlow) is open from 29 March to 2 November Wednesday to Sunday inclusive as well as Bank Holiday Mondays - the House from 12.30pm to 5.00pm and the Garden, Park and Adventure Playground from 11.00am - 5.30pm. There is a Shop, Restaurant and Ice Cream Kiosk
