HELP SPREAD THE WORD - SUPPORT THE COUNTRYSIDE - SUPPORT FARMING - SUPPORT THE RURAL WAY OF LIFE - SUPPORT TOURISM IN RURAL AREAS - SUPPORT THE CAMPAIGN

Monday 14th April 2003 saw the long awaited ‘Image of Agriculture’ campaign go live under the new strapline ‘c/o British Farming’. Posters, banners and car stickers are starting to be displayed across the country. This is only the beginning of what promises to be a high profile campaign, so don’t worry if you are not involved yet - there are still many ways you can take part and do your bit for British farming.

There is a brand new website www.cobritishfarming.org.uk which has been developed especially for the campaign and which will provide you the public with useful links to other websites where you can find out more about how to buy British and where you can visit the countryside.

THE-RURAL-ASPECT ORG are delighted to be among the supporters.

There are few people who have written so glowingly about one stretch of the English countryside in the region of Melton Mowbray and including areas of adjacent Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire than the intrepid walkers Barbara and Stu who walked the thirty-three miles and three Counties recorded in their very detailed, illustrated online account entitled The Grantham Canal Walk 2006 and it is to their eternal credit that we willingly single them out for inclusion here.
As for the Grantham itself - described as "A quintessentially rural canal, running for 33 miles from Nottingham to Grantham via the Vale of Belvoir" among its many, many other assets it boasts a website at: http://www.granthamcanal.com/
